The Scholastic Arts Spotlight Program

The Scholastic Arts Spotlight program has been created to recognize outstanding high school students in the arts in Southern Wisconsin. They highlight some of the amazing high school musicians, singers, dancers, actors, public speakers and visual artists in our area throughout the school year. Fox 47 TV and UW Platteville will spotlight one student each month. The Scholastic Arts Spotlight will acknowledge the wonderful accomplishments and talents of the student in an exclusive Fox 47 TV campaign that includes a feature length news story and a promotional vignette that will air in some of the hottest programs on television!

If you know a student who excels in the Arts, nominate them for the Scholastic Arts Spotlight. Students in the Arts are strongly encouraged to nominate themselves.

Applications are now being accepted! All applications received will be considered throughout the entire Scholastic Arts Spotlight selection season. High School students between the ages of 14 and 18 who excel in the following areas are eligible for nomination: music, theatre/speech, visual arts, public speaking and dance. Anyone 14 years old and up may nominate a student 14 to 18 years old online. Students 14 to 18 are especially encouraged to nominate themselves in one or more artistic areas.
